One drugstore brand that cannot be shook and has continued to change the makeup game is Wet n Wild. Some of my all time favorite lipsticks are from wet n wild, like the shade Nudist Peach.

Their liquid catsuit collection has been a favorite among many makeup lovers that they had since release the same shades in a metallic version and those have also been very popular.

I’m telling you it’s hard not to love them. It’s like a revamped version of the already stunning shades but a little more fun and flirty.

I purchased six shades of the metallic versions and they’re on fire! Keep on reading to see the swatch!

I started off with the lighter shades first just so that I wouldn’t get my lips stained right away from the darker shades.

Satin Sheets was the lightest of all the six shades. It swatched a light rose-gold color on me and turned out to be a little too light and almost ‘washed out’ for my skin tone.

Honeyglaze, though it was darker that Satin Sheets, still didn’t stand out as much as I would’ve liked.

Ride on My Copper was the shade that started to give me a little bit of color in the face.

Once in a Bronze Moon is definitely lived up to the color. It’s a stunning metallic bronze finish.

Life’s No Pink-nic, okay first of all, how cute is that name? The name alone made me love the lipstick, plus as I continued to transition to the darker shades complimented me even more. This as well went great with my complexion.

Last but definitely not least is this purple metallic shade called Acai So Serious . This shade was definitely one of my favorite from the six. It’s a bold, statement making color that I’m living for!

Pros:

Cons

• Some shades can get streaky or patchy due to quick drying formula if you don’t apply quickly enough

I’m definitely satisfied with this purchase, even though some of the lighter shades didn’t worked out as well as I though they would they’re still worth it. I’ll just need to get a little creative to make the shade work for me.

All in all, this brand is definitely worth trying out. Not only is their makeup affordable but it’s of great quality.
