I tried that looking at your nipple thing to find your perfect nude shade and that didn’t do it for me so I’m back to doing things the old fashioned way.
Trying on a million and one nude lipstick until I find a winner.
I wish I had that super power of knowing if a nude lipstick would work for me without trying them first because as of late, I’ve been through several nude lipsticks that I purchased that I had to kick to the curb.
Not really! I’m not wasting my money like that.
You best believe that I will do everything in my power to make that nude lipstick that’s ten shades lighter than me work before I resort to throwing it out.
There has been so much rave about this liquid lipstick that I had to find out for myself what kind of magic, if any, was stored in the tube.
Right off the bat, it has a very high end looking tube packaging with a wand applicator that allows you to easily glide on the lipstick. Wet N Wild claims this lipstick to have “Vivid Color”, “Ultra-Matte Finish” and “Comfortable Wear”.
When I first applied the lipstick, I have to say that the color and pigmentation was intense. I did have to wait for about 20 seconds for it to try before I applied my second coat. When the second coat was fully dried it did have a very dry and matte finish that did not budge. It is also kiss proof and transfer free. Way to go for a liquid lipstick that’s only 5 bucks!
As they claimed, the wear is very comfortable. It doesn’t feel heavy on the lips at all. If I didn’t know any better I wouldn’t even have known that I was wearing lipstick. The formula that makes this lipstick super lightweight is definitely a winner.
I would say that the wear time is about average, 3 to 4 hours. My lips were even drier around that time and I noticed that dry patches were starting to show. It also doesn’t hold up very well after eating so I had to remove and apply a fresh coat and all was well with the world again.
Wet N Wild is definitely giving luxury brands a run for their money as the quality of the lipstick and of course the affordable price is something that can’t be beat.
The Cast Suit Mega last collection has a variety of colors and guess what? I’m just getting started!
Who else has tried the Catsuit collection? What color do you recommend I try? Give me some feedback in the comments and let PuckerUpBabe know.
Nude lipsticks and lip glosses will always be a hot trend in the makeup world and maybe that is why I always find myself in the nude section of the lipstick category. It’s just one of those safe colors that will almost always work with your outfit of the day. What I have today is NYC’s Liquid Shine in nude. This lip gloss is super affordable and can be found at most drug stores for less than five bucks. During the dry winter months I try to use mostly lip gloss as it keeps my lips feeling moisturized for a lot longer as compared to wearing lipsticks.
Not only is this yummy and shimmery lip gloss perfect on it’s own but it easily mixes with my other lip glosses to create an entirely new color.
So it has always been hard for me to find the perfect nude lip that will go great with my complexion and won’t let me look sick or washed out. My current nude lipstick buy is by NYC in the shade Riverside Rose. It’s actually a lip crayon and it looks like a nude pink on my lips. I’ve been a little lazy about wearing make up lately and when that happens, I just put on a little face moisturizer and of course a cute nude lip color.
When I first applied this lip crayon I put it on my bare lips and it was just really dry and unpleasant looking which is a definite no no when it comes to my lips. For my second attempt, I glided on some of my e.o.s. lip balm before and then added the lip crayon which made the look and feel a thousand times better. I am very pleased with the results now and will definitely be wearing this lip crayon more often. What’s your favourite nude lip color? Share your comments below. Puckers to you xoxo.
