Fenty Beauty does it again! A recent post on the Beauty Brand’s Instagram revealed the new Stunna Longwear Lip Paint in a sexy nude brown ‘Unveil’ that’ll just knock you off your feet.
The brand has definitely set the standard for making beauty products that will be universally flattering on all skin tones and this shade is the perfect chocoaltey, warm brown that will compliment your fall outfits.
This is the second shade to the Stunna Lip Paint collection and it’s just as hot! This drops just a few weeks after her Universal Diamond Milk Gloss Bomb was launched.
It boasts a 12 hour wear with a comfortable soft matte formula that was seen on the singer at New York Fashion Week 2018 looking fierce and fabulous.
This chocolate nude couldn’t come any sooner as we switch out our makeup collection for more vampy and moody looks for the Fall season. The new Unveil lip paint is available for purchase at Fenty Beauty for $24.
We can all agree that Colourpop is one of the most budget friendly brands out there that offer quality products. This is a brand that I could surely purchase from all day long and if they were to ever go away I would never be able to stretch my coins the way I do right now.
If you agree and if you’ve got a minute, then you’ll want to keep on reading.
Even though I love makeup, it’s always a good feeling when I can look good and support a worthy cause at the same time.
The Lipstick Lobby is a company that works in partnership with different non-profit organizations to support different causes. Some of these organizations include Planned Parenthood, The American Civil Liberties Union, The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence and the most recent, the Unprison Project, backed by social activist and feminist icon Gloria Steinem to assist incarcerated women.
Gloria Steinem, not much of a lipstick wearer but a huge social justice supporter partnered with the Lipstick Lobby to create a lip balm where the proceeds will help women who are incarcerated. You can purchase the In the Clear Lip Balm here.
All the proceeds from lipstick sales are donated for the betterment of women across the nation and their message couldn’t be more inspirational.
“…we aim to raise awareness for social justice issues, and also to provoke conversation. Wearing a coat of lipstick on its own can be simple and stunning. But sometimes we want to say more, say it clearly, and unapologetically. “
As a woman, not only do I feel obligated to support other women but it’s important to make it known that looking and feeling beautiful goes beyond what lipstick shade you’re trying to decide to wear but about creating a forward movement of strong, independent women. We can wear lipstick and kick ass by empowering other women while we’re at it.
Like I’ve always mentioned, we don’t always get to control what happens to us but what we can control is where we choose to spend our money and for me it feels amazing when I know it’s going towards promoting social change in a positive light like what Blush and Whimsy and Color the World Lipstick are doing.
You can find out more about this company and support the movement here.
If you’re looking to add some fun to your lipstick collection then these color changing lipsticks from Givenchy are gonna be perfect for you. My first color changing lipstick was from Blush and Whimsy and I absolutely loved them. Read more about that here.
Color changing lipsticks are a great way to create your own custom lip color as the color changes according to your body’s pH. It’s like Magic.
The Givenchy Lip Duo consists of a a sheer pink lipstick and a black lipstick that both have a satin finish.
If you love a good makeup deal then you’ll be pleased to know that the Dose of Colors Lip It Up Satin Lipsticks are on sale for half the original price on Ulta.com.
These satin lipsticks from Dose of Colors Lip It Up Collection came out about a year ago but I never got them just because I wasn’t quite sold on the shape of the bullet and the fact that the lipstick doesn’t twist all the way down leaving some of it exposed.
That’s a mess about to happen especially with how clumsy I can be!
I’ve been wanting to try out something different from MAC to switch it up a little bit and keep it fresh so I did some research on makeup lovers favorite lipsticks from MAC whether old or new and I can’t believe what I found!
There was a Riri Woo Lipstick!
How come I did not know about this?
This was a collaboration done back in 2013 with Rihanna as part of a holiday collection. This came up on my search as a favorite by many and I was floored because I missed out.
Riri Woo, like Ruby Woo is also a retro matte finish but with a much cooler undertone.
I definitely have my go to shades from MAC which are my red retro matte Ruby Woo, Lady Danger, one of the hottest orange shades and All Fired Up, my favorite pink.
These shades have complimented my skin tone in the best way possible and they are gonna be in my collection until they’re discontinued, hopefully not. The struggle…
I wonder if I can still get my hands on this Riri Woo lipstick?
The next shade that came up is Instigator which is a more current shade. It’s a deep plum color which is more fall appropriate but fall is right around the corner so it wouldn’t be so bad to get it now. I’ll keep this one on my list for now.
I still cant believe I did not know about the Riri Lipstick!
