Not all of us are fans of wearing lipsticks but sometimes the occasion calls for a little bit more than your everyday chapstick.

A great solution to this problem is to opt for a nude lipstick. I love nude lipsticks in general because I find them to be so low maintenance and they do not require frequent touch up.

The NARS Wanted Power Pack Lip Kit in Cool Nudes is the perfect set to start with. NARS has some of the most amazing liquid lip formulas that are super long lasting and do not budge.

It comes with two beautiful cool nude shades in Le Freak and American Woman. For those with a lighter complexion they work pretty well on their own without a lip liner, however if you have a deeper skin tone then it would help if you add a darker lip liner to give it some depth.

Both colors have a nude rose undertone that will make for a great nude lipstick. These apply easily with the doe foot applicator and dries down completely matte.

If you’re not comfortable with a matte finish you can always top it off with a clear gloss or other topper that will compliment the color.

Le Freak

Le Freak is described as a pale pink nude. This color definitely needed a darker lip liner on my skin tone because it came off a little bit too light. Apart from that the color is gorgeous.

American Woman

This shade is described as a chestnut rose and swatches a little darker on my complexion where a lip liner is not exactly necessary.
