It’s undeniable that high-shine lip glosses are a super low maintenance way to add a little bit of glam to your makeup.
Anastasia Beverly Hills have always brought their ‘A’ game when it comes to make up and their lip glosses are no exception. This new set from ABH definitely brought some new life and freshness to my collection.
These new lip glosses are perfect for adding that soft shimmer that you can wear on their own or over lipstick without looking like you’re trying too hard!
If you have been keeping up with the Chrissy Thiegen and Becca Cosmetics collaborations then you would know that this is actually the third collaboration that they will be bringing forth and it’s all about the cravings.
Chrissy Thiegen is not only a model, but a chef as well and came out with a Cravings cookbook not too long ago so you can also add author to her resume.
The Cravings Collection with Becca Cosmetics is inspired by her love of food and cooking and will be launching on October 20th at Sephora.
The collection includes a Glow Gloss Kit that comes with four shades of nudes, pinkish nudes and a fiery red that’s perfect for the holidays. The set of glosses will go for $29.
You can get the Kitchen Kit for $44 and it includes an eyeshadow and highlighter duo along with a loose powder highlighter.
Halloween is right around the corner and some of us are still planning our costumes and makeup. Whether we like it or not, special effects and colors play a big part when it comes to our overall look but many of us may not be so talented so we tend to play it safe by sticking to what we know which is plain old lipstick.
However, if you want to switch it up a bit, rather than going the traditional black or orange lipstick for Halloween, a blood red lipstick is also a pretty good choice. Not just any red though, a deep blood red as we still need to stick to the theme of course.
We might all be excited for the holidays so that we can wear our moody makeup and lipsticks but the worst part about the Fall and Winter seasons is the cold and dry weather that lingers and do a number on our skin and lips.
Kylie’s Lip Kit comes with the liquid lipstick and of course the pencil lip liner. This shade is described as more of a dirty orange mid tone color as opposed to a vibrant in your face orange. They are super lightweight and comfortable on the lips with it’s creamy like matte formula.
Origins is definitely known for amazing skin care like their Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay which is a favorite product of mine, but they have recently re-opened their lipstick collection after being missing from the scenes for quite some time.
The good news is that they’re back and they’re doing it well! The skin care brand recently released two categories of lipsticks, Blooming Bold Lipsticks and Blooming Sheer Lip Balms.
Blooming Bolds, like the name states, are bold, full coverage lipsticks that are infused with 12 flowers, waxes and other essential oils to provide all day moisture. These come in 24 different shades to accessorize every outfit and mood.
The Blooming Sheer Balms hydrate the lips with a hint of fresh color. They’re available in 8 different shades that give you more of a natural finish for those lazy ‘no makeup’ makeup days.
Both the bold lipstick and the sheer balms go for $20 each. Peep the collection here.
