I tried that looking at your nipple thing to find your perfect nude shade and that didn’t do it for me so I’m back to doing things the old fashioned way.
Trying on a million and one nude lipstick until I find a winner.
I wish I had that super power of knowing if a nude lipstick would work for me without trying them first because as of late, I’ve been through several nude lipsticks that I purchased that I had to kick to the curb.
Not really! I’m not wasting my money like that.
You best believe that I will do everything in my power to make that nude lipstick that’s ten shades lighter than me work before I resort to throwing it out.
It would just be nice to find a nude lipstick like totally toffee and naturally chic where I didn’t have to work so hard to make it the right shade for me like combining multiple other lipstick shades and lip liners.
Sigh…
My latest quest is the Smashbox Fully Nude Lip Trio that I purchased at Sephora for $34.
Here’s what’s included:
Be Legendary Liquid Pigment – Bad B (Full Size)
Always On Liquid Lipstick – Stepping Out (Full Size)
Be Legendary Liquid Lipstick – Audition (Mini)
Bad B was definitely my most favorite from the three. It had great coverage and was creamy with a glossy feel. The only thing with liquid lipsticks with a gloss like finish is that, of course, it will transfer.
When you want a more moisturized lip then something has got to give and I think this is something I can deal with.
It did show a lot more peachy on my skin tone than I thought but overall it was a gorgeous color. I also loved that it’s a full size because I will be getting tons of use out of this shade.
The other full size lipstick is Stepping Out which is described as a deep nude. This is a shade from the Always on Liquid Lipstick collection that drys matte, feels weightless but at the same time doesn’t make your lips feel dry.
I’m telling you the formula for these lipsticks is out of this world amazing!
This one actually looked like I wasn’t wearing anything at all but at the same time very gorgeous.
Lastly we have the mini Be Legendary Lipstick in the shade Audition that is described as more of a neutral rose shade. This lipstick was also very pigmented and creamy I wish it was a full size!
