Snog; to kiss and caress amorously

If you’re looking for lipsticks to give a proper smooch then why not start with butter London’s Lippy Liquid Lipstick. I purchased the shade Snog and it’ a beautiful girly pink lipstick that is bright, super moisturizing and stays on for hours! Who’s up for kisses?

I would definitely describe it as more of a high shine lip gloss than a lipstick. One thing I didn’t like though, is that it felt a little sticky and heavy on the lips. The color was amazing on me but it was hard to ignore the stickiness.  Being that this is not gonna be one of my everyday lipsticks, the goopiness is not one that will bother me if it’s once in a while that I’ll wear it. After wearing it, truth is I do prefer their lip crayons over the liquid lipstick. I have their Teddy Boy and Primrose Picnic lip crayons that I’m very much satisfied with and will purchase more shades in the future.

I also felt like I wore it better when I had lip liner on as it does bleed a little bit. So is it worth it for the price? Well…the stickiness was a turn off for me but the color intensity was amazing, Im not gonna lie! Butter London describes there liquid lipstick collection as

– Vitamin E & Shea Butter to moisturize lips

Personally, when it comes to my lipsticks, I think it has everything that I’m looking for, pigment, moisturizing benefits and long wear. I could do without or maybe a little less shine. So if the pros outweigh the cons then it’s a winner for me. Try it out for yourself and if you think your partner won’t mind a little stickiness on his lips then go for it and snog away.
