Teddy Boy Lip Crayon – Get it Here. This shade is also on sale now for $10. Grab it while it lasts!
Butter London has been a brand on my list, and yes I do have a very long list, that I’ve been wanting to try for a while. As per usual, I’m always in search of a great lip product and came across the lip crayon in the shade Teddy Boy.
Firstly, I would like to mention that I enjoyed using Butter London’s site because they show you how the same product will look on women of different complexion so you could more or less have an idea of how their product is gonna look on you. That to me was very helpful and one of the main reasons why I’ll be back to shop on their site.
Butter London calls it the ‘3-in-1 formula’ as in it gives you the control of a lip liner, coverage of a lipstick and the shine of a gloss. I have to say that these claims have proven to be true.
The lip crayon comes with it’s own built in sharpener which is super convenient. It’s easy to line my lips with it and then fill it in. On my complexion the shade is like a nudish pink which I absolutely love. It almost has that same finish as my Naturally Chic lipstick from Milani. It has a creamy consistency with a slight gloss finish compared to Wet N Wild’s very matte Nudist Peach. It’s not to loud but just perfectly subtle but yet fun and flirty at the same time. Another plus is that this shade will match with almost anything in your wardrobe. It can go from the desk to happy hour in no time.
I honestly can’t wait to try more shades from them. There products are also formulated without harsh and toxic ingredients like parabens and mineral oil just to name a few, so you can be confident that you’re only applying safe ingredients to your skin.

Not all makeup was created equal, some tend to go bad and harbor bacteria faster than others but if you’re a lipstick and lip gloss hoarder then you’ll have better luck with keeping them around for much longer. The shelf life for lipstick is said to be about two years! However, there are some signs that you need to be aware of so you can know when it’s time to toss it:
1.Your lipstick appears dry, has a weird or waxy odor
Out of all your beauty products, your lipstick is the one that will probably last the longest. If you notice that the texture is not the same and the smell is off then it’s probably time for you to throw it out!
2.The Texture of Your Lip Gloss is Just Not the Same
If you notice that your lip gloss is a bit stickier or clumpy like and just won’t go on smoothly then it’s time to get rid of that sucker.
3.You get a reaction from your lipstick or lip gloss
There are times when your body will tell you that your lipstick or lip gloss is going bad. In my experience, I get tiny bumps on the edge of my lips and they itch like crazy. In that case, lip gloss be gone!
4.You notice a different color on the lipstick
I’ve only seen this happened to one of my lip products. It was actually a lip crayon that I had only for a about year or less and noticed that the color was off. Even though it was a newer product it was probably sitting on the shelf for a while so we also need to be cognizant of that.
5.The Appearance of Mold
Now this one is a no-brainer and pretty much self explanatory. If you are not convinced that your lipstick is expired after seeing mold then good luck with that!
Now, the moral of the story, when in doubt, toss it out!
What other signs should we look out for? Let PuckerUpBabe know! XOXO
I had fell in love with my first L’Oreal lip stain Incessant Russet that I set out to find another color and ended up with this amazing shade called Lilac Infinite. Shades of purple definitely pop on my complexion and that is why I thought this one would’ve been a winner – and it surely was. I love my Incessant Russet as well but I find that this Lilac Infinite is a lot less drying. I only re-applied the moisturizing top coat twice, whereas for the Incessant Russet, I had to re-apply it several times.
It also lasted all day that I had to scrub it off my lips with my lip scrub at the end of the night because just plain water or makeup remover didn’t get it done. This is definitely a long wear and is worth every penny. I cant wait to try out another of their amazing shades. Try it out and let me know what you think.
I really enjoy wearing a great lip gloss that is not sticky or heavy on the lips. One of my go to favorite is NYX’s Lip Gloss in Mauve 06. I wear a lot of lip gloss on my lazy days which occur more often these days, but it gets the job done without putting too much effort. It’s a nude-ish pinkish color on my lips that is refreshing and girly.
Another reason I love this lip gloss is because it is affordable and super versatile. It will compliment almost any skin tone and will make your lips look amazingly delicious. What is your current favorite lip gloss? Comment and post your pics below. Puckers to you xoxo.
