One of the things that refrain most women from wearing lipsticks is that some of them can be so high maintenance and require a lot of touch up throughout your busy day.
Your best chance of finding a lipstick that doesn’t require frequent touch up is if you go for a matte lipstick. Matte lipsticks do have excellent wear time but they are also known for giving you increasingly dry, chapped lipsticks that gets more and more uncomfortable throughout the day.
So is there a happy medium between creamy, high maintenance lipsticks and matte lipsticks?
There very well might me.
I finally got myself into trying Flower Beauty’s Petal Pout Lip Color and I think it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.The formula is so amazing it came very close to the Zara Ultimatte Lipstick but in a cream finish.
Flower Beauty’s Petal Pout Lip Colors have some of the most amazing formula ever. First of all, the packaging looks very luxurious and even feels high end.
The formula is very creamy but also has a little bit of matte-ness to it as well. I like that the colors are buildable so you can either decide to have a sheer flush of color or build it up to a super bold pigment.
A popular issue with creamy lipsticks is that they tend to feel greasy or oily on the lips but Flower Beauty’s Petal Pout Lip Color did not give me that feeling at all. There was also no scent which is awesome for those who have sensitivity issues. There is also a great variety of colors that you can choose from. The Spiced Petal Lipstick seems to be a very popular color for everyday looks where as the darker shades like Rouge Berry are great for a night on the town.
The creamy formula gives excellent coverage and wears comfortably for a decent amount of time without leaving your lips looking dry and crusty.
I was amazed at how inexpensive these lipsticks were for the quality and comfort that they provide. I honestly did not have very high expectations for these lipsticks so I was completely shocked at the results that I got. I feel like these lipsticks have just not been talked about enough.

This shade is the perfect everyday nude color that you can rock at your 9 to 5. Also if you’re someone who is just getting into wearing lipsticks then this shade is great for newbies.
Rouge Berry 060
Rouge Berry, like the name describes a beautiful berry color that is flirty and fun. I like that it wasn’t too dark of a berry hue which gives it a fresher look.
Flamingo Flirt 080
This is a gorgeous coral orange color that just screams everything Spring.
Ruby Rouge 110
This shade reminds me of a brick red color. You can just never go wrong with any kind of red lipstick.
