Hey guys,

By now most of you already know that I’m a frequent Milani lipstick user and I recently purchased the color Sweet Nectar from Milan’s Color Statement Collection to do a review, and I have to say that it’s popping! Get it on Amazon.

Milani describes it as being a bright orange but on my skin tone it’s more of a true orange, compared to my MAC’s Lady Danger which is like a coral orange with a matte finish. On lighter or fair skin tones it will probably look more like a bright orange.

This orange lipstick went on easily in one easy swipe. It’s a fresh and flirty color that will give all your other summer lipstick shades a run for their money. It’s creamy and very pigmented with a matte like finish. What I noticed throughout the day as my lips got dryer, since the lipstick is not very moisturizing, is that it settled on those dry areas which was kind of annoying. That happened after about 4 hours of wear, though, which to me is a decent time to remove and apply a fresh coat.

Guys, there are a ton of colors in this collection that you’ll be sure to find one that you like. So far I have the shade Naturally Chic, which I’ll do a review on later, and do plan on getting more shades. I always have a hard time choosing without buying everything so I settled for an orange shade just because it’s summer time and wanted a fresh new color to brighten my outfits. For six bucks a piece, I’m sure that you’ll be able to find an amazing color in the collection for yourself. You should check them out.

Who has tried a color from Milani’s Color Statement Collection? Give me some feedback and let PuckerUpBabe know.

XOXO
