I found myself unusually  wearing quite a bit of purplish lipstick colors this winter mostly because it was fun and brightened me up on the cold and sad looking winter days. I was amazed at how much I basically wore my bright colors and pretty much ignored everything else. The shades of purple were giving me life! Being intrigued by my winter purplish lips obsession, I googled and found some interesting facts about the color purple.

1.Purple is the color mostly associated with royalty and luxury.No need to tell me twice, I’m liking the sound of this already. All the rich an the richest of the rich would would wear purple to show off their wealth.

2.Purple is a universally flattering color that will compliment any complexion. With that said, there shall be no skin tone left behind. No excuses to not slap a shade of purple on and pucker up.

3. It’s sort of mystical in a sense and it also helps you to be more creative. No wonder I was drawn to them when the skies were dark and gloomy. I was looking for creative ways to brighten my day.
