How I make my summer color work is by pairing my lipstick with a colorful top, scarf or even with my nail polish and it instantly elevates my outfit. One of my fun shades is the NYX Summer Breeze, which is like a bubble gum pink that goes perfectly with my skin tone. It is matte and may be slightly more drying in the winter. To help with that dryness, I use Vaseline before I apply my lip liner and lipstick. You can also apply a topcoat of lip gloss on it as well for extra moisture.

Winter is not one of my favorite seasons of the year, however that doesn’t stop me from sporting some of my fun summer shades to brighten up my look and my day. I don’t tend to follow trends when it comes to lipstick shades, I just practically use what I have and make it work for me. One of the things that I stay consistent with, however, is using my lip scrub, especially in the winter time.
