If you’re looking for a lip stain that is quick drying and hassle free then Tarte’s Tarteist Lip Wardrobe will do the trick.
The lipstick duo comes in a very yellow gold reflective packaging with each lipstick having 0.034 fl oz of product so they are very small mini sizes.
The two quick dry matte lip paints came in the shades Rose and Fomo.
Rose
Rose is more of a nude brown on my complexion. The formula is very comfortable when applied and was very quick to dry.
There was no scent to it as well, if any it was very subtle.
After it completely dried however, it looked like it had a peachy brown finish on my lips which I really did like. The shade reminded me of the Smashbox Always on Liquid lipstick in Stepping Out.
After some time, I did also notice that it didn’t sit as smoothly on my lips as I would’ve liked. It started to settle into the lines of my lips which was not attractive at all.
This could easily be fixed though by applying a clear gloss on top if it starts to get too drying.
Fomo
Fomo’s formula is very creamy and lightweight and dries in seconds. Plus it has a great minty smell that you’ll really enjoy getting a whiff of.
I found this shade to compliment my skin tone more than Rose did as it had some mauve undertones that really brightened up my face.
The beautiful mauve color was definitely a win for me between the two of them. This shade was also not as drying as Rose. It felt way more creamy and comfortable on the lips with amazing pigment.
Overall these were decent lipsticks. Not the best that I’ve tried and certainly not the worst. They have a wide variety of colors that I think will suit most skin tones.
The pigmentation is amazing and for $12 for the dou I would say it’s certainly worth a try.
