Wearing traditional bullet proof lipsticks can sometimes still be a challenge for some of us but what about liquid lipsticks? How do you know if liquid lipsticks are meant for you?
The simple answer is you don’t!
The popularity of liquid lipsticks have been on the rise and it’s not going away anytime soon.Learning what will work or not work for you is by simple trial and error. Makeup is not a one shade or product or formula fits all type of deal.
So where do we start when it comes to wearing liquid lipsticks?
In case you didn’t know, Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics launched a mega makeup collection for her 21st birthday that is apparently a limited collection and I want in on it.
Kylie’s makeup line has been on my radar for a while especially since I’ve tried her sister’s lipstick collection, KKW Beauty Creme lipsticks, by Kim Kardashian, and was pleasantly surprised at how well made and moisturizing they were so hopefully Kylie’s would be just as good or maybe even better.
I’ve tried quite a few drugstore lipsticks but el.f. wasn’t one of them.
My usual purchases from e.l.f include brushes, contour and blush set as well as their lip balms and lip exfoliators so yeah, I have to admit that to me it’s a decent drugstore brand as I frequently purchase their products.
New to my list of e.l.f products is their liquid matte lipsticks. They come in eleven different shades and I purchased four of them online from Ulta.
I thought that there was no drugstore lipstick that could make me feel this way, but after trying these metallic lipsticks from NYX, I was like WHOA!
The power of the pigment in these lip creams had me shook.
Back in the day when my coins were scarce, they’re still scarce now but back then they were a lot more scarce, NYX was one of my favorite makeup brands but somehow I got into the hype of trying other brands and I slowly forgot about them.
