Spring time is definitely that time of the year to explore your fun side with fresh, new makeup. The new Almay Lip Vibes lipsticks are full of excitement all the way down to the packaging.
The Almay Lip Vibes collection consists of twenty-four lipsticks with three different finishes of matte, cream and topper. They remind me a lot of the Sephora Lip Stories Collection.
The lipsticks are packaged in very vibrant card board like packaging with a clear plastic at the top so that you can see the actual color of the lipstick.
I purchased four of the lipsticks in a matte finish (I realized that when I got home as I just pulled them off the shelve without noticing that they were all matte).
The four matte shades that I grabbed are Be Fearless, Insta Queen, Treat Yourself and Smile. The shades seemed pretty true to color as what is portrayed on the packaging so that was nice…sometimes we get surprises.
The crazy thing about these lipsticks is that even though they are described as having a matte finish they did not feel matte at all. These were the creamiest matte lipsticks I’ve ever felt. I was mind blown and maybe a little bit confused, but nonetheless pleasantly surprised.
There was no way for me to deny how moisturizing these lipsticks felt for being matte. They glided on smoothly and even felt more like a lip balm. It’s something that I just can’t explain but I was amazed by the feel and comfort of these lipsticks.
They also did not slip or smudge on my lips being that they felt creamy so I was super stoked about that as well.
One of the things that I did notice about them is that they apply a little bit sheer but you can certainly build it up to a more pigmented look. So depending on how you’re feeling for the day you can choose to wear it as a sheer ‘lip balm look’ or you can pack on the layers.
As a creamy matte finish, it’s important to know that these will also transfer throughout the day based on how much you eat and drink but it still leaves a sheer hint of color on your lips.
From the twenty-four available colors to choose from there is definitely something for everyone. I’ll surely be looking into getting some of the cream shades as well as toppers.
There’s really not much to hate about these lipsticks. They definitely score major points for comfortable wear, color range and affordability. By the way, these are also not scented.
Now let’s get into the shades:
Be Fearless
I would describe this shade as being more on the pink side with subtle hints of coral. I’m the worst at describing colors but that’s what it looked like to me.
Insta Queen
Insta Queen is a beautiful attention grabbing purple that will have people turning heads.
Treat Yourself
A red lipstick is always a necessity when it comes to your collection. Since these can be worn as a sheer finish, this is the perfect way to get into wearing red lipsticks. Start out with one layer and as you get more comfortable you can add layers to make it more pigmented. It’s great for red lip starters.
Smile
This is one of my favorite shades from the collection more so because I don’t own a lot of orange hued lipsticks.
I think that everything posted was actually very reasonable.

added something that makes people desire more?
I mean These Spring Drugstore Lipsticks will Pleasantly Surprise You – Puckerupbabe is a little plain. You might
look at Yahoo’s home page and note how they create news headlines to grab people to open the links.
You might try adding a video or a pic or
two to grab readers interested about everything’ve got to say.
Just my opinion, it might make your posts a little livelier.
