The one thing that a makeup lover would not turn away this holiday is a set of new lipsticks. Personally, I like receiving makeup as presents because, first of all, makeup is expensive and second of all I don’t turn away anything I get for free.

Urban Decay has a mini lipstick set that I think would make a great stocking stuffer for the makeup lover. Their vice lipstick is highly recommended and their cult following is almost as strong as Colourpop’s.

The Urban Decay Vice Lipstick is one of the most pigmented and comfortable lipsticks you will ever wear. It’s so good that you will be obsessed from the first swatch.

The Sweet Little Vices Set is a limited edition set that retails for $25 and contains four mini vice lipsticks in comfort matte and metallic finishes.

As the name states, these mini lipsticks are quite scented so if you prefer a fragrance free lipstick then you’ll want to stay away from these. The formula is excellent though, with a smooth and creamy finish without emphasizing any dryness or small lines.

As a matter of fact, that’s what Urban Decay is known, it’s amazing comfort matte formula that keeps people coming back for more. For the formula itself, it’s absolutely worth the price.

So the four shades included in the set are California Honey, Keep Tame, Bing and Red Hot which is a set of their most popular flavors of honey, cherry and heat.

California Honey (Metallized Honey Flavored)

Not to start off on a bad note but this shade was my least favorite from the set. It smelled delicious, but I find that the metallic finish was too overpowering for me.

I feel like the metallic took it to an unnecessary level of ‘extraness’ that I could’ve done without but if you’re adventurous then you’ll have no problem busting into the staff holiday party and werking it!

Don’t get me wrong, the color is beautiful and certainly photographs well but in natural sunlight it was a little much. I think this shade would absolutely look gorgeous at night though.

Not only that, but I also don’t feel like the color is practical enough for a regular, everyday life. I would probably wear this shade maybe once or twice a year and I’m leaning on a strong ONCE.

Keep Tame (Sheer Honey Flavored)

Now this is a shade that I could rock in my regular schmegular life without looking like a golden tin man. Keep Tame is a more safe shade to wear with some pinky, rosy undertones that you can take from the office to happy hour.

There really wasn’t anything unique about the shade but I loved that it was something I could work with. This is a shade that most of us would be comfortable wearing like 6 out of the 7 days in a week.

It’s a beautiful lipstick that you can easily get obsessed with because that is exactly what happens when I find a lipstick that can literally go with everything.

Bing (Comfort Matte Cherry Flavored)

Even though I couldn’t really smell the cherry flavor in this shade I loved the pink and purple hues I got from it. It’s a more fun and playful shade that I could pop out and show out in the summer time with a cute sundress and sandals.

Normally I have no problems wearing shades like these because I think that they tend to compliment my skin tone very well

Red Hot (Comfort Matte Cinnamon Flavored)

The first thing that I noticed about this shade, apart from being red, was the delicious cinnamon scent was. Now, I didn’t have anything negative to say about this shade because a red lipstick is a red lipstick. You either love it or you hate it.

The comfort matte formula is excellent with a very smooth consistency, the pigment is rich and the blue red undertone made my teeth look a lot whiter.
