The highly sought after makeup artist, Pat McGrath, is well known for her of course, luxe MatteTrance lipsticks and lust lip glosses. She recently released two sets of limited edition Mini Lust Gloss Sets exclusively at Sephora.
The sets are grouped by cool colors and warm colors. Each Set contains three mini lust glosses each. They are the Skin Show Color and the Skin Show Warm.
The glosses come in different finishes such as high shine, glitter and shimmer.

Glosses are a big part of my winter makeup routine. I seldom wear matte formulas in the winter due to the fact that it will only make your dry lips dryer. Some of my favorite lip glosses to wear in the winter time are from Anastasia Beverly Hills and Marc Jacobs.
When I found out that Pat McGrath was releasing mini lust glosses I jumped on the opportunity because I always stock up on minis plus it will allow me to try out her glosses before committing to a full size tube.
After testing out the glosses for a bit I realized that the formulas are very comfortable but not as long lasting which I would say is pretty normal for glosses. You have to expect that the gloss will be easily transferrable based on your daily activities.
Another positive is that they were not sticky at all. I find that the Marc Jacobs Enamored High Shine glosses, even though they are super gorgeous, were a tad bit sticky. Pat McGrath’s are thick but not goopy nor sticky.

The Skin Show Cool Set was beautiful but I found them to be just a little bit sheer for my complexion. However, these will make awesome lip toppers or perfect who is just looking for a subtle tint of color on their lips.

The warmer shades definitely popped more on my skin tone compared to the cooler tones. For those that have a little shimmer in them, it makes the gloss look even better when light is reflected from it.
There was only one glitter, Pale Fire Nectar, but the glitter was small and not overwhelming so your lips don’t look like a disco ball.
The lip glosses also had a very pleasant smell but if you’re someone who is sensitive to smells then these might not be for you.
