Last month’s Boxycharm was all about your fierce Alter Ego but as we near the holidays it’s all about glitter and gold.
The theme for this month’s box is Goal Digger because most of us do live for the glitz, glam and the gold.
Boxycharm is a monthly beauty subscription box that features 5 to 6 full size products.
Cost – $21 monthly with free shipping
The combined total of the beauty products in this month’s is $109.98.
The products included in this month’s box are:
CoverFx – Glitter Drops
I’ve literally seen this product all over Instagram and I was excited to see that it was included in this month’s box.
The product is packaged well in a sleek glass bottle with a squeeze suction applicator to suck up the glitter and apply it to your face and body.
There’s 0.5 FL OZ of product but it’s so concentrated that it will last a very long time. It’s very similar to Tarte’s Tarteist Pro Glow
The drops are just filled with pure gold goodness and glitter.
One thing that was noticeable, however, was that once blended you could actually feel the glitter inside and it dried super quickly. You only need a very little bit of this product as I realized a little goes a long way.
When used on the face under foundation it was a bit difficult to blend anything else so that was a little disappointing. It worked better for me when blended with body lotion that I used to highlight my shoulder and clavicle area. I looked like a sparkling fairy and it was even more beautiful when reflected by light.
Cost – $44.00
Ace Beaute Grandoise Palette
I have one word to describe this palette. Amazing! The colors are not only gorgeous but pigmented as well. They feel a bit creamy powdery but they blend well to create seamless eye looks.
The eyeshadow palette features four matte shades Patchouli, Clove, Poppy and Cinammon and four shimmer shades Jasmine, Rose, Rose and Primerose.
The matte shades were a bit powdery but they happened to blend very well. The shimmer shades were just buttery and vibrant and really took your eye look to the next level.
Cost – $24.99
Luxie – Luminous Eye Set
Luxie is known to create amazing brushes and I couldn’t be more happy whenever I receive a new set of brushes because we can just never have too many!
The synthetic brushes are gold plated with raised 3D glitters that you can actually feel and helps to provide good grip when applying eyeshadow.
There are four pieces in the set and includes a Mini Round Brush (141), Mini Tapered Brush (121) Mini Flat Angled Brush (111) and the Mini Angled Brush (131).
All these brushes help you to blend and smudge as well as to create the perfect cut crease.
Cost – $21
Jontéblu – Glittering Star Eyeliner
Glitter eyeliner has never been a part of my beauty routine so I was excited to get this one from Jontéblu. Though I’ve received eyeliners from this brand before this is the first time where there is some glitter involved.
Past eyeliners from Jontéblue have worked out okay for me. They are the best that I’ve tried but certainly not the worst.
This one in particular was a lot creamier than others that I’ve received in the past. I prefer to use this on my upper lash line for fear of getting the glitter in my eye with my lower lash line and it has worked out fine.
The color is pigmented and the glitters can be seen clearly which make them perfect for a statement eye look.
Cost – $5
Lashaholic Lashes – Instaglam False Eyelashes
One thing that you will need to transform a glam look is lashes. Lashaholic lashes are 100% vegan and made from the best quality silk fibers.
Lashes can transform your look by providing length, dimension and fullness that many of us struggle to achieve with our own lashes.
Though not a frequent lash user, I do love the whimsy and magical effect that I get from these lashes.
Cost– $14.99
