Summertime can serve us some of the most sweltering heat and wearing lipsticks might be a little bit tricky but good thing there is lip gloss.

I have to admit that I’m definitely a lip gloss junkie as they are always so versatile. You can wear them on their own or as a topper over lipsticks.

The Dose of Colors Stay Glossy lip glosses all have a lovely smell that it just brings me joy whenever I get a whiff of it. They smell like cake, cookies and candy. If you are sensitive to smell you will not like these but I do have to say that the scents are not overpowering at all.

The eight new shades launched recently and I picked up all eight of them because I was struggling to decide on colors so getting them all ultimately solved my problem.

Of course it is absolutely not necessary to get all shades as some of them you can definitely find dupes for.

The newer shades range from pinks, nudes and dark browns in a high shine, glossy finish.

I wore these lip glosses for a few days and I did notice that they are pigmented and have good coverage.

Like all lip glosses these have some stickiness to them but not at all too sticky. There is not one gloss that you will find that will not give you some degree of stickiness.

The formula is thick, smooth and creamy which explains the great coverage but they did not feel heavy on my lips. The wear time is decent but that does decrease as you eat and drink throughout the day.

These glosses are also buildable. You can choose to wear them sheer on their own or apply a few layers for a more pigmented look.

If you want to take it up a notch then just apply a layer of it over your favorite lipstick and you have a look.
