If you have a love hate relationship with wearing lipsticks then trying these lipsticks from Bellapierre Cosmetics could very well change your mind.
I got introduced to Bellapierre Cosmetics about a year ago through my Lip Monthly subscription and since then they had left a lasting impression on me.
Many of us have not heard of the brand but they actually have locations all over Europe, France, Australia and of course here in the United States. They are a complete makeup brand with eyes, lips and face products and even hair and nails.
Bellapierre’s lipsticks are buttery soft and made with nourishing ingredients like jojoba oil, beeswax and sunflower seed oil. They also smell like cookies and cake batter and you could smell it as soon as you take the top off.
I came across a set of their Lip Culture Cream Lipsticks, which is a collection of four lipsticks and purchased them right away without hesitation.
Th set came in a well packaged box showcasing the lipstick colors on actual lips and you can also flip the box open to get a closer look at the actual lipsticks.
There is also a matte version of this set but since we’re heading into Fall anytime now I thought it would be a great idea to just start stocking up on my cream lipsticks.
It also includes a good variation of colors ranging from purples to pinks and nudes.
The lipstick shades are printed on the bottom of each lipstick.
Couture
Couture is described as a frosty violet magenta color but to me it looks more metallic. Either way it’s a beautiful color.
Envy
This shade was actually my favorite from the set and is described as a dusty rose. I like it because it is one of those shades that I can use as my go to nude lipstick, which by the way, every woman needs in her collection. The tone just matched my complexion perfectly.
Fierce
This is one of the colors that I received in my Lip Monthly subscription and this is the one that made me fall in love with the formula. It came in a black quilted packaging that gave it that high end, luxury look.
As soon as I swatched it I was amazed at how easily it glided on and effortlessly applied to my lips. It was definitely love at first swatch.
It comes off as metallic bronze on my skin tone but it is described as a frosty coppery red. That description got me a little confused because I did not see any red hues in there.
I see it as a neutral or nude shade with some extra metallic glam. It’s definitely an interesting color but you can even pair it with another lipstick if you’re not comfortable wearing it alone.
Catwalk
This shade could also be one of your go to everyday shades as it’s super easy to dress it up or dress it down and will practically go with everything. It’s described as a nude pink and that is exactly what it is.
It came off a little bit more pink on me but that could be toned down with the right lip liner so it really isn’t a big deal.
These lipsticks will leave your lips moisturized but they don’t have that long of a staying power. You will find that you have to reapply it throughout the day because it will transfer.
I do find that Fierce lasts a bit longer than the other colors though. Overall, these lipsticks are super comfortable to wear all day if you can get past having to reapply them every so often.
They are super pigmented and smell really good. You can wear them on their own or mix and match to create really awesome ombre looks.
These lipsticks look so bright and shiny , plus they smell like cake ?. I will look into finding these . Also how do you take such nice lip photos ? I tried the other day but didn’t like the close up . Do I need to different camera or zoom function ?
Thank you! I use my iphone but I don’t use my front facing camera as I find that the quality is not the best. I turn my phone around and use the back camera. I get better quality that way.
Oh thanks . I’ll try that out for lip pics ??
