If you’re not excited about the Lion King Movie then I don’t know who or what you are because it’s a huge part of most of our childhoods. If there’s anything I could remember as a kid is watching the Lion King Movie and feeling so brave and inspired and I know that we can all relate to this.
Well if you love the Lion King and you also love makeup then you’ll probably be just as excited to know that Sir Jon, Beyonce’s makeup artist, partnered with Luminess Cosmetics to create a Disney Lion King Makeup Collection that is going to drop on June 15th.
Disney surely knows how to tap into our inner childhood through makeup and honestly I’m here for it. This is not the first and won’t be the last Disney collaboration. As a matter of fact the last collaboration that came out was the Disney X Aladdin Collection and before that the Disney Villain Collection.
The now Lion King Collection of course embodies all things Lion King in the details from art and imagery on the packaging to the names of the different shades.
The collection includes The Kingdom Sculpting Palette ($42) that comes with six different neutral, warm toned shades, a 12-pan Can’t Wait To Be Queen Eyeshadow Palette ($42) that looks like it comes with both matte and shimmer shadows to create some everyday and over the top glam looks.
There’s also a Circle of Life Highlighter ($40) for those of us who want to glow to the Lion gods.
To complete the collection it also includes three Be prepared Liquid Lipsticks and three bullet Be Brave Matte Lipsticks all going for $24 each. There is also a Legacy Tinted Lip Balm for those who prefer a glosses to lipstick also going for $24.
