Previously I had written a post about Kat Von D’s ten new shades that she added to her Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Collection and I was literally sitting at the mailbox waiting for these to get in.
After trying out Maybelline’s Superstay Matte Ink, I was interested to see how Kat Von D’s would compare knowing that there is a significant price difference of $12 between the two. I knew that the staying power on Maybelline’s lipsticks was super long lasting and the formula for most of them was pretty decent.
KAT VON D’S liquid lipsticks similarly are known for their long lasting wear, applying creamy with a matte finish and high pigment color.

I did forget to take pictures of four other shades that I swatched but you can check the video out to see how they turned out.
For the most part one swipe of lipstick would do the trick but you can certainly build them up for a more vibrant look. For some of the lighter shades you will definitely need a lip liner to keep your lipstick from bleeding.
These also felt very comfortable on my lips and it felt like I had nothing on.
ARE THESE WORTH INVESTING? DEFINITELY!!!
I’m so glad that I finally tried these lipsticks because I know that I could depend on them to rescue me through bad makeup days. Well not so much for La Lupe and Zero which were my least favorites from the ten new shades.
