I’m an avid budget shopper but truth be told, some of the best things that money can buy can’t be found at your local drugstore. Nars’ deluxe lipstick is that lipstick that will make you feel better about spending your coins after that first swipe. They’re not exactly affordable but compared to other brands like Dior and YSL I would say that they fall in that mid range luxury price point.

It’s not everyday that I splurge on makeup but when I do it’s because I’ve done a lot of research and read a lot reviews before I make a purchase. You guys know that I’m a huge fan of mini lipsticks for that same reason. I rather try a sample size first before I commit to a full size purchase. That has also helped me to save a lot of money. I’ve tried quite a few of NARS’ lip products and I have yet to be disappointed. Their lip pencils are some of the best that I have tried. Their creamy formula is easy to apply and the wear time is amazing.

If you’re more of a liquid lipstick person then there’s something for you as well. Their Power Matte Liquid Pigment is on point when it comes to comfortable wear and long lasting power. One of the things that I also enjoy about their liquid lips is the applicator. There is something about the design of the doe foot applicator that just gives you a precise application for nothing less than perfect lips.

I would love to have all 72 shades but I probably won’t be able to use all of them up in my lifetime so I’ll just pick out a few shades to start with. That alone is a struggle in itself.
