The theme for this month’s box is all about surviving the holidays.
“Merry and Bright”
The holidays can be a stressful time for many of us and the last thing we want to worry about is our beauty routine.
This time of the year can sometimes be all about the hustle and bustle and this month’s box contain products that will help us to look and stay flawless while out and about.
The products included in this month’s box are:
Make Up Forever Ultra HD Microfinishing Loose Powder
“A shine-reducing finishing powder that blurs the look of imperfections.”
Amount of Product – 0.035 oz.
Finishing powders are quick fix to get rid of oil build up while running around town. The small travel size allows you to make quick and easy dabs to control the oil on your face.
First Aid Beauty Hello Fab Coconut Micellar Makeup Melter
If there is anything that would be useful in my beauty collection it’s a makeup remover. Taking off the day’s makeup is a very important step for many of us as we wanna make sure that the pores are clean and moisturized without stripping the natural oils in the face.
“A gentle makeup remover that hydrates, conditions and smooths skin.”
First Aid Beauty has some of the best facial moisturizers like their Ultra Repair Cream, so I was excited when I saw the micellar water.
This stuff literally melts away your heaviest makeup. I also did notice that it did not irritate my eyes at all which was definitely a plus!
Christophe Robin Cleansing Volumizing Paste with Pure Rassoul Clay and Rose Extracts
When we talk about shampoos this was not what I was expecting so at first I was really intrigued by this product not only because it’s a brand that I’ve never heard of but it’s a shampoo in a clay like form.
“A shampoo formulated with clay that transforms from a paste to an airy foam.”
What I loved most about this product is that it contains some exfoliating beads like a face wash but for your hair. The beads aid in exfoliating the scalp and removing build up until it turns to foam.
Sephora Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in Pink Tea
The Sephora cream lip stains are great but this particular color was not the most flattering on my skin tone.
“A silky liquid lip stain in a nude pink shade with a matte finish.”
I did a previous post about Sephora’s cream lip stains that you can view here. This is a gorgeous shade but I would have to use a darker lip liner to give it some dimension so it would compliment me better.
Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream
Eye creams are something that I never used to incorporate in my beauty routine just because I did not see the point of using one but the more I get them in my beauty boxes, the more I enjoy them.
“A lightweight eye cream that brightens and hydrates skin in an instant.”
Eye creams have now regularly become a part of my nightly routine. Clinique’s Pep-Start feels very cooling under my eyes.
The formula itself is very lightweight and it has no smell which I like because scented products can sometimes irritate my skin.
BONUS ITEM
Viktor&Rolf
This month’s bonus item is from Viktor&Rolf with notes of pomegranate and a floral aroma.
