This is one Ulta Haul that I felt really great and confident about because these are the products that all the beauty gurus are buying and I wanted to find out what was so special about them.

Revlon Super-lustrous Lipstick – Cherries in the Snow
Smashbox Always on Liquid Lipstick – Bawse

There are definitely some products on here that will be on my holy grail and others that I will never buy again, okay maybe never is a strong word so let’s just say less inclined to buy.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Stripped Liquid Lipstick is described as a warm peach that smells really good and has a nice paddle shaped doe foot applicator that helps to evenly get the lipstick on the lips but this lipstick, unfortunately did not do me any good. It completely washed me out.

The formula is great and dries matte and like most liquid lipsticks it will emphasize the lines in your lips if they are dry and cracked.

The only way I could possibly make this lipstick work is to pair it with a dark lip liner or another lipstick to give me some color and depth so that I don’t look like a corpse.

Smashbox Bawse lipstick has all of the things you want in a liquid lipstick. The applicator is designed to help you get the most precise coverage plus this lipstick is the real deal when it comes to pigment!

It feels weightless on the lips, dries matte and it’s super opaque. The staying power on this lipstick is amazing. It held up through lunch and drinks and did not budge.

Buxom Shimmering Lip Polish in the shade Dolly is actually a really pretty nude on my lips. If you’re looking for a shade that’s more natural then this shade will be right up your alley.

It does have a little shimmer to it and you do feel a powerful tingling sensation for quite some time because, of course, it’s a lip plumping gloss.

My only negative is that, like most lip glosses, the coats are heavy and sticky. 

I really enjoyed the smell of it plus it made my lips look extra juicy!

Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in Cool Girl was another fail for me. It smelled great and formula wasn’t terrible but I did find this one to be the most drying.

This will be another shade that I would have to pair with a darker shade to make it work because it doesn’t look good on me on it’s own.

Revlon Super lustrous Lipstick in the shade Cherries in the Snow was definitely one of my favorites from this list. I’ve used other shades from the Revlon Super Lustrous collection and I loved how creamy and moisturizing they made my lips feel.

Even though they do transfer as they have a creamy finish, that’s something that I’m willing to put up with because they have a very high impact color and stay on the lips for a decent amount of time.

This one was a winner for me.

Lastly, there is Stila Stay all Day Liquid Lipstick in the Shade Caramello but it’s such a shame that again, this shade will be a no for me. It would look amazing on someone of lighter skin tone though.

Well at least I got three lipsticks out of the six from the Fan Favorites that worked out and I mean worked out in a great way. I’m very happy with the Revlon, Buxom and of course Smashbox.

It’s unfortunate that none of the nudes worked out but then again that’s the struggle of finding the perfect nude lipstick. It’s either a hit or miss!
