As we approach different seasons in the year the one thing that I always crave is new lipstick colors. I don’t wear a lot of makeup but I do have a lot of fun with my lipsticks.
Wearing lipsticks is one of the easiest ways for me to transform my look. At the end of winter, and as we approached Spring, I was already thinking about what colors I wanted to add to my collection.
During the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty sale I went on a Flesh Beauty haul and grabbed a bunch of their lipsticks as I had fell in love with the brand the first time I tried their Fleshy Lips lipstick.

One of their lipstick lines is called the Swipe Flesh Lipstick that comes in a very cute and sturdy compact with a very unique finger print on top.

I thought that was pretty creative. The print looked so perfect that I was afraid to use the product and mess it up.
I picked up a few colors that translates Spring and Summer like fresh mauves, oranges and of course I had to add a classic red. They’re other collections, Proud Flesh and Strong Flesh Lipsticks have the same variety of colors for every season.

Now let’s get into the colors:
Tremble
This bright orange was just what I needed to chase away the winter blues. I love pairing an orange lip with a fun floral dress and crisp white converse for the ultimate Spring look.

Shiver
Whenever I’m buying lipsticks, picking out a red shade is a must for me just because like a nude color, it’s the one shade that does not go out of style.

A statement red lip is normally my go to look because majority of the time I just wear minimal makeup at work and if there’s any way to play up a minimal look there’s no better way than with a statement red lip.
Succulent
If there is any color that compliments my skin tone in the best way possible it’s a fuschia.

I love a pinkish purple lipstick as it instantly brightens my face giving me a youthful look. It’s one of those colors that I always look forward to wearing during the Spring and Summer months.

The Flesh Beauty Swipe Flesh line is absolutely amazing. I was impressed by the whole idea that it feels like a cream to the touch but when applied it actually dries down to a smooth, powdery finish. Mind blown!

The best part is that you can apply the product with your finger. That’s how it’s actually meant to be used . It doesn’t get messy and it allows you to have full control over the product. How? I have no idea of this sorcery but I was really impressed.

By using your finger you can also control how bold of a lip you want to wear because the application, by using your finger, allows for a buildable look.

You can create a faint or subtle lip stain or just go all out for a statement lip. The options are endless.

For to the point precision I would definitely recommend using a lip liner but it’s definitely not necessary. The powder matte finish virtually feels like air and it lasts for a pretty long time.
