Tarte Limited Edition Lip Ornaments Holiday 2019 Lip Gloss Set

The best part about the holidays in the world of makeup is the holiday gift sets. I always look forward to all the mini makeup sets from different beauty brands because I like to not only get them for myself, but gift them to friends and family as well.

The Tarte Lip Ornaments Lip Gloss Set is a Limited-Edition Holiday 2019 set that is a set of four multidimensional, shimmery lip glosses. The lip glosses are also in the shape of ornaments which I thought was pretty neat.

Tarte’s formula is filled with moisture and hydration all around and that’s one of the reasons why I keep purchasing their glosses.

What I liked about the set is that the glosses were all comfortable to wear with a not so sticky or heavy feeling on the lips.

The sparkle effect is also not overwhelming at all, and you cannot actually feel the sparkles on your lips. Feeling sparkles on my lips can instantly be a turn off for me so I was glad to find out that you can’t feel them.

There are four shades included in the set and they all have that subtle iridecent finish that give you the illusion of juicy, fuller looking lips.

They can definitely be worn on their own and would be perfect for someone who doesn’t like wearing lipsticks or doesn’t like wearing glosses that have a lot of pigment.

To be honest, I was just a little bit underwhelmed with the collection because it seemed like all the shades swatched the same on my lips. You can tell that the colors are different in the tubes but when swatched, the colors just kinda blend into your lips, well with mine at least.

These will also be a great present for a teenager or someone who is just getting into wearing lipsticks. The back of the package has a ‘built-in’ gift tag so you can address it to the person you are gifting. I thought that was a cool idea that saves you an extra step from going to purchase gift tags.
