One of the things that Sephora is famous for is their Cream Lip Stain Collection. It is a weightless, satin-like liquid liquid lipsticks that glides on like butter.
Sephora put together their must-have shades for the holidays that contained four matte lip stains and two metallic shades that range from nudes to plums and cherry shades that you can wear for every occasion.

The best part about this collection is that it is relatively affordable for a non drugstore brand and it’s also available in a variety of colors to compliment every skin tone.
It’s most definitely a cheaper alternative and for that reason the Sephora Cream Lip Stains are always highly recommended.

I’ve been a fan of the cream lip stains for a very long time and I find myself collecting different shades every so often.
After using them for some time I’ve started to get a better understanding of how they wear and how long they lasts. For one, if your lips are not in the best of health, meaning they are dry and cracked, then these lip stains will not be flattering on your lips because they do emphasize EVERYTHING.

I also found that the life of the lip stain, like many other lipsticks, depends on what you eat and drink throughout the day. They do last for about three hours for me with just drinking but as soon as I eat I do have to touch up immediately afterwards.

If you’re looking for a super all day wearing lipstick then you might be better off trying something like the NARS Powermatte Liquid Lipsticks or the L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Liquid Lipsticks. These are awesome and are available in fun scented flavors of chocolate and macaroons.

The cream lip stains also tend to make your lips dryer the longer you wear them, so it’s always best to use a lip balm underneath to offset they dryness and uncomfortable feeling.
I find that the pigmentation can be a hit or miss and really depends on the color. Some colors just need one or a couple layers while others need several to make it pop.
Always Red 01
This red shade is one of my favorite shades from the Sephora Cream Lip Stain Collection. I received the sample size in my Sephora Play and ended up buying the full size afterwards.

It’s a beautiful full bodied blue based red that definitely packs pigment. The coverage is amazing and really compliments my skin tone.

Alter-ego 72
Alter-ego is like a pinkish-nude color that can be a more wearable, everyday shade. It’s not bold or too pigmented and would be great to wear to work as I find it to be a very safe shade.

Vintage Rosewood 41
If you’re into nude colors you will also find this color very attractive. Like Alter-ego, Vintage Rosewood is a gorgeous rosy-mauve that will really compliment a lot of skin tones.

Whether your complexion falls on the lighter spectrum or darker spectrum, this shade will surely enhance your lips and your overall makeup look.

Blackberry Sorbet 14
This color is a darker berry shade that would make a great Fall and Winter lipstick. It’s perfect for creating moody, Instagrammable makeup looks.

The only thing is that the darker the colors the worse it looks once the lip stain gets too dry. Youll have to make sure you prep your lips before hand with a good scrub and add some lip balm to avoid the lips getting dry and cracked.

Pink Lollipop 109
Metallic lipsticks are one of my least favorite lipsticks to wear only because they are not practical for everyday life, but I do find myself using them for special occasions like New years and Halloween.

Another thing is that metallic lipsticks tend to easily emphasize fine lines and imperfections in the lips. It’s very hard for anyone to pull off metallic lipsticks as they are made to reflect light along with all the dryness and imperfections.

Pink Lollipop is a metallic champagne like color that I did not find very flattering on my skin tone. It will definitely compliment those who have a lighter complexion than me. I also found that it dried a little bit streaky which is not what you would want for a metallic color.

Metallic Cherry 64
Like Pink Lollipop, Metallic Cherry is another metallic finish lip stain that I will probably only wear a couple times a year.

I liked that it swatched a little better and had a ton more pigment as well. I always love a red lipstick but as soon as you throw a little metallic in there I’m a little bit turned off. Like why would you go and ruin a good red lipstick?

My developer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on several websites for about a year and am concerned about switching to another platform. I have heard good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would be really appreciated!
