I’ve never convinced myself that I needed a lip plumping creme because first of all I, I think I was blessed with already full enough lips and second of all it’s hard to believe and trust in something from the drugstore that says it will enhance your lips.
However, I always low key wanted to try one though just to see if it actually worked. So here it goes…
I purchased five shades of the Revlon Kiss Plumping Lip Creme collection that I thought would work best on me. Fresh Petal, Peony Buff, Barely Blush, Spiced Berry and Rich Bordeaux.
I found out that these cremes were moisturizing right off the bat but was a little bit sheer.
The lighter colors were smoother and easier to apply than the darker shades as somehow the formula for the darker shades was thicker to me.

Well, honestly it would be hard to see the ‘magic’ after just a few minutes of wearing but I did feel it however, so to speak. What I felt was just a slight cooling sensation on my lips as opposed to a tingling sensation that most people relate to some form of lip plumping.
These are definitely not products that I would be long term obsessed over but with it’s moisturizing capabilities and ability to make your lips seem fuller with it’s glossy finish, it’s definitely a do-able lip product.
I can see myself using these more in the dry winter months when I literally get shriveled up like a prune and am staring for moisture.
Who has tried these lip plumping cremes and what were your thoughts? Let’s discuss!!!
I just bought Barely Blush! I ran into the drugstore and was actually looking for NYX lip plumping lip gloss but they didn’t have it. I found this one fortunately & decided to get it because of you review, thank you!
Oh wow, that’s awesome!!! I’m glad I was able to help 🙂
