Moschino just took Ms. Independent to a whole new fun and creative level with this office inspired makeup collection with Sephora.
If you work like a boss, you can definitely play like a boss as well. There’s something about this collection that is made for the woman who is bold and just kicking ass!
The creative director, Jeremy Scott, got inspiration for this collection from the working woman in an office setting and incorporated a fun and creative twist which initially drew me to the collection, of course.
The limited-edition collection consists of a laptop palette, pencil brush set, highlighter cheek set, eraser sponges and liquid markers lip set.
These colors are so vivid and pigmented that we’d be able to spot you from Mars.
From the collection, I ended up getting the liquid marker set, of course which consists of five liquid marker colors with a matte finish.
These all swatched beautifully on my hand. You can tell that the colors are very pigmented and bold.
Escape
For most of us, choosing a green lipstick may not be our first choice but this is a very unique, pastel looking green that I don’t have anything like it in my collection.
This is definitely an attention grabbing color that may turn away most of us but I actually liked how it swatched on my hand.
When I actually put on my lips it was even more brighter than I thought. Looking back at the picture I realize that it’s not as bad as I thought but I just didn’t feel comfortable wearing it.
It’s definitely a color that is out of my comfort zone. It’s beautiful but I didn’t feel confident pulling it off. I would be too self conscious about it.

Like Escape, this color is also a pastel looking lavender shade.
Between the two pastel looking colors, I would wear this shade more often than Escape. I think the color is gorgeous and swatches beautifully as well.
I actually found the color to be very soft and feminine in some weird kind of way. Maybe I never thought I could pull off a lavender looking lipstick. who knew!
Shift
Shift is a gorgeous violet looking color that I would say is the most ‘serious’ looking color from the bunch.
The darker hue is one that I would wear during the fall and winter months.
This shade reminds me of the NYX soft matte metallic lip cream in Havana.
Command
This coral color is also a fresh Spring shade that would pair well with a cute sun dress.
Power
I am so into this shade it’s crazy. It’s a beautiful fuchsia color that compliments my skin tone in the best way possible.
This is another hot Spring color that I think a lot of people can pull off. It’s very striking and immediately draws attention.
These lipsticks are definitely winning when it comes to creativity and pigmentation. The formula is also one of the best quality I’ve tried. The only tricky part about the formula is that it is a quick drying formula so if you’re not careful the lipstick could appear streaky or patchy.
Quick drying formulas require a speedy application but that is a little bit hard to do when you’re putting on a bold color.
What helps is to apply the lipstick in one direction rather than applying back and forth which may contribute to streakiness.
It will also help a lot not to press your lips together while it’s still wet. Go layer by layer and wait for each layer to dry before applying another. This will allow for a more seamless look.
I feel like you could probably use the pastel green for some fun creative lip designs . Like stripes or an ombre look with a darker blue or green . All of those shades look so amazing !!
I think so too! The thought of using them as eyeshadows even crossed my mind!
That green on your eyes would look awesome !!
