The Tarte Quench Squad Hydrating Lip Set was definitely an impulse buy for me, like many of my other purchases, but the packaging of the lipsticks was just too cute that it was hard to walk away. Can you relate?

The set features four hydrating lip balms that was surely giving me tropical vibes with prints of pineapple and palm trees.

These lip balms are the perfect rescue from dry, weather beaten lips. They are infused with jojoba oil which helps to make them ultra hydrating and feel very luxe on the lips.

If there is anything your lips will fear it’s gonna be these quench monsters. They also have a very minty smell that always makes everything smell so refreshed and keeps you awake every time you get a whiff of it. ever.

Not only do they drown your lips in moisture but they also provide a sheer color with a gloss like finish. Depending on how deep your skin tone is some of the shades might swatch the same on you.

The two shades that showed up more prominently on my skin tone were the Berry and the Red Shades. The nude and Rose shades just looked like I was wearing a clear lip gloss.

Overall these are fun, ultra hydrating lip balms that are good to keep on hand. Putting them on your lips is like jumping into a tropical smoothie that you never want to come out from.
