One of the Halloween launches from Colourpop was their collaboration with Safiya Nygaard, the YouTuber who is famous for all her lipstick science experiments and a lot other fun, creative content.

The most popular one of her experiments is when she purchased all the lipsticks from Sephora and melted them to create her own Frankentstein Lipstick.

The lipsticks came in a black matte packaging with the shape of a bat on the front and the lipstick shades outlined on the back. Safiyah has a love for bats and hence the bat themed packaging.

She’s also known to fancy unpopular lipstick colors like black and grey but she did mix it up a bit with this collection and offered shades that ranged from nude to bold and daring.

The lipsticks came in a metallic tube with bat prints all all over as well as prints on the actual lipstick. The collection consists of four creme and two matte lipsticks.

Bikini Bottom

Bikini Bottom is a creme finish lipstick and is also the nude shade from the set. It’s described as a pinky-beige nude.

Mrs. Norris

This greige-y brown color is also a creme finish lipstick that I though was a beautiful and unique shade.

Berry Me In Lipsticks

This creme shade is described as a mauve-berry color that I find completely flattering.

Fred

The collection would not be complete without a red lipstick and this full bodied creme lipstick is described as the Frankenred, which is Fred for short.

Screamer

Screamer is a matte finish lipstick that is described as a deep burgundy which makes a perfect Fall color.

Brucie

To finish up the collection is this wild card matte shade called Brucie. Not only is the name interesting, but the color as well. It is described as a sharky blue-green color which I thought at first resembled something of like a mermaid blue, so I wasn’t too far off.
