I knew it was only a matter of time before I subscribed to Sephora’s beauty subscription box. I know it’s about a day late but your girl was slacking when it came to checking her mailbox and for that I apologize.

There were six sample sizes in this box from six different brands that came in a little draw-string pouch bag with “Make it Snappy” printed on the front as that is the theme for the box.
The products in this box is suppose to help you create the perfect photo finish looks.
I’ll start off with Sephora’s Instant Moisture + cream Hyaluronic Acid Booster.

I applied this on my face after I washed it and it did make my skin feel soft and smooth. The consistency is great as well, whereas I can find some moisturizers to be too thick and heavy but this one was actually light and moisturizing. There is not a heavy scent which was also great.
The dr. brandt Luminizer Primer did a great job at minimizing pores. I currently use the Maybelline Baby Skin primer which has always worked out great for me but I might be using dr. brandt now as a secret lover.

Next up was the Sephora Contour Eye Pencil on my lids to see how it would swatch on it’s own and the shade was actually super pigmented with a little metallic shimmer. I can see myself using this shade ‘Love Affair’ to create some super fun eye looks.

The Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder from It Cosmetics was actually okay to me. There wasn’t anything too different about it from other pressed powders that I’m currently using.

I tested out the Press Powder after I applied the moisturizer and primer to create a ‘no makeup’ look as it claims to:
- Give you an airbrush look
- Blur imperfections for a flawless finish
- Be ani-aging with silk collaged and antioxidants
- be a universal, translucent shade for all skin tones
Plus it also stated that it can be worn on bare skin or over makeup so I went the bare skin route, of course!
Found out that it definitely wasn’t enough for my photo finish standards.

It did blur out some imperfections but it definitely wasn’t a flawless finish. I think you would need some sort of foundation or concealer underneath to get that flawless finish look which I will test out down the road.
Also, this will only work if you already have great skin. So, yeah I think they forgot some disclaimers there.
I finished up with the Buxom Shimmering Plump your Pout Plumping Lip Gloss in the shade Celeste. This gloss is very minty and shimmery. From the moment I put it on I felt that tingling but somehow the tingling did not go away. I don’t know if it was suppose to go away or not but mine definitely didn’t so I guess
it will be plumping all night long!

The My Burberry fragrance in the scent Blush was floral with a slight hint of spice but nothing too overbearing. I thought it was also a little too mature for me like something I would give my mom. I don’t hate spice I just prefer it less but this fragrance actually smelled great.
