My Sephora Play June box finally ended up in my mailbox around the end of June. I feel like they’ve been shipping later and later every time where I almost received my box in July.
Sephora Play is a beauty box subscription from of course, Sephora, where you will receive 5 to 6 sample size beauty products.
The theme for June’s Box is Summer Nights.
Cost $10 monthly
The products included in June’s box are as follows:
Milk Makeup – Kush Mascara in Boom Black
Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick in Queen B
Alterna Haircare – Caviar Anti-aging Miracle Multiplying Volume Mist
Clinique – Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes and Lips
BELIF – The True Cream Aqua Bomb
PRADA – Candy Sugar Pop Fragrance
Milk’s Kush Mascara has a really great brush design that coats and and gives volume to the lashes. It reminds me of the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir that I received in a previous Sephora Play that is one of my favorites right now.
“A conditioning mascara that uses cannabis oil to nurture lashes while heart-shaped fibers add clump-free volume. “
I was really excited about Too Faced’s Melted Matte Liquid lipstick as I do own a liquid lipstick from them in the shade Cool Girl and I really love how their formula is weightless and comfortable to wear.
” A long-lasting, lightweight lipstick that goes on like a gloss but delivers bold, full color.”
It swatches a soft pinkish-purple shade on my skin tone.
The Alterna Haircare smells really great. It gave off a citrus scent to me but of all the products in this month’s box, this is the one that I’ll probably not use just because when it comes to my curly hair, volume is not really an issue for me.
” A multitasking hair mist that uses plumping complex to create twice as much volume instantly.”
Clinique’s Take the Day Off Makeup Remover is one that I’ve been wanting to try for a very long time as I’ve read a lot of great reviews about it. I never got around to trying it because I felt like it was just a little bit out of budget for me so I’m glad that it was included in this month’s box.
” A gentle formula that removes makeup without tugging, stinging or irritating skin.”
I’ve never used anything from the brand BELIF before but I was impressed at how moisturizing their True Cream Aqua Bomb was. I do suffer from extra dry skin so this will come in very handy for me.
” A reviving moisturizer that fights dull skin with a burst of hydration.”
The bonus item in this month’s box is a perfume sampler from PRADA. It’s the Candy Sugar Pop that has beautiful floral scents that’s perfect for summer days and nights.
” Fruity and delicious, this scent story of apple, bergamot, and vanilla has a sweet ending that’s anything but ordinary.”
