Halloween is not even here yet but holiday makeup gift sets have been dropping left ,right and center! I don’t know about you but I like to get my Christmas shopping done way in advance because I just don’t like to deal with the hustle and bustle of the holidays. When people are out shopping I just want to be at home drinking egg nog and watching Christmas movies on the Hallmark network.
With that said, I’ve been peeping Sephora and Ulta on a daily basis so I don’t miss out on any of my minis. I checked Sephora first because somehow that’s what I always do, for no specific reason at all, and noticed that quite a few of them have been posted. I immediately started adding to my cart and these are what I ended up with.
I definitely added the gloss trio from Smashbox because I actually don’t think I own any Smashbox lip glosses! Can you believe it? I own a few of their Always On Liquid Lipsticks but nothing in gloss. My two favorites are Bawse, a power red and Stepping Out, which is a beautiful nude.

I’m very excited to try the glosses and the colors look like they will compliment me really well…or should I say we shall see when they get here.
Next up is the Sephora Collection in Frosted Kisses. Now you guys know I’m in love with the Sephora Lipstories Collection. Their color range and finishes are impressive and the packaging always tell a beautiful story.

The Frosted Collection is no different and I’m actually looking forward to trying the winter themed set. You can check out a couple of my video swatches that I did on previous lipstories. You can also purchase the colors individually if you don’t want the entire set.
I don’t know why I chose two sets from Tarte Cosmetics but I just couldn’t pass up the cute packaging of the Lip Ornaments set. It’s fun to look at and I thought the entire set was just super creative. Hopefully the formula is just as good as the packaging.
Now I know what their H20 glosses feel like and I’m definitely a fan, so this was an easy buy. I think I used up the holographic one that I had I can’t remember the name to save my life, so it’s time to restock and four glosses always sounds better than one to me.
I’ll be keeping you guys posted on the swatches when these arrive so that you can start your Christmas shopping early like me if that’s how you like to roll. By the way, if you prefer to shop at Ulta these sets are also available on there.
