I really loved that they incorporated berry nudes in the collection as there are a lot of women with a darker complexion that need darker nude lipsticks.
The formula is like a creamy, semi matte finish with rich pigments. The shades Freaky, Bold and Legendary remind me of the Flesh Beauty Flesh Lipsticks as far as the shade, I would say they are definitely dupes.
Knowing that Essence is awesome for finding quality and affordable makeup, I would say that your chances for finding dupes to luxury makeup, especially lipsticks, is very likely.
I thought that the lipsticks had a great smell but a bit too fragranced. The scent started to get a little bit too overpowering so these lipsticks will not work for you if you are sensitive to smells.
Overall, the lipsticks are great and I was quite impressed at the formula. It’ll be wise to take it with you to reapply throughout the day, as being a creamy matte finish, you will find that it tends to transfer a bit, but apart from that it sits very comfortably on the lips without emphasizing dry patches and small lines.
