Jaclyn Hill recently took to social media announcing her new cosmetic line that she has been working on for quite sometime, Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics, and that of course got the entire beauty community in excitement as Jaclyn is definitely known to bring the glam when it comes to makeup.
As her first launch from her cosmetics line, Jaclyn opted for lipsticks, the So Rich Lipstick Collection which dropped on May 30th. The collection featured some stunning nudes, pinky nudes and even natural nudes that definitely looked like a rich, creamy formula.
You could tell that Jaclyn put some thought into this collection as the variation of colors were amazing and the swatches were even better.
The packaging is also top notch and blinged out because honestly you couldn’t expect anything less from glam queen Jaclyn Hill.
Everything about the launch seemed to have been going pretty well until customers started to receive their orders. A few customers started to complain about the lipsticks being lumpy and finding holes and hairs in their lipsticks which they thought was very unusual, and it definitely is! Coming from someone who purchases a lot of lipsticks, I’ve never encountered something like that.
So as more customers received their orders, ish started to hit the fan and Youtube literally blew up with claims that Jaclyn allegedly sold them expired lipsticks.
As news spread and more customers expressing their dissatisfaction Jaclyn took to Twitter, which was the right thing to do in my opinion, to try and appease those who got faulty lipsticks.
I do have to say that I was looking forward to trying the lipsticks but now I’m not so sure. I’ll just wait for Round 2 how about that?
So how much of this issue do you think is Jaclyn’s fault? Is it the lab to blame or Jaclyn? The good news is that Jaclyn certainly has loyal fans and would support her no matter what but to keep them loyal she will have to fix this problem rather quickly.
