When it comes to makeup lipsticks have always been my first true love so I’m always ecstatic when I get introduced to lipsticks that literally changes my life.
I’ve tried the Flesh Beauty Fleshy lipsticks before, to be honest I was a bit skeptical at the name at first but I guess it was the curiosity of the name and the brand that sparked my interest.
I ended up purchasing the Flesh Fleshy lipsticks and I was impressed. They are some of my favorite nude lipsticks to wear from my collection.
They then released the Flesh Proud lipsticks which are a complete opposite to the Fleshy collection. They come in a matte liquid formula and they are bold and proud, indeed.
They come in eight different shades and I ended up picking up four shades.
What I love about these lipsticks is that they feel completely weightless on the lips. Like nothing! But they also pack a punch when it comes to the pigment.
They dry down completely matte that lasts all day. They didn’t emphasize any dry patches which can be a very common thing with most liquid mattes but I did not experience that with the Flesh Proud Lipsticks. Wohoo!
I also love the shape of the doe foot applicator. The shape reminds me of a paddle with rounded edges to help with precise application around the corners of your lips.
It also holds enough product on there where you do not need to dip back in the tube. The formula is also very full coverage. A little goes a long way.
Now let’s get into the swatches:
Brazen is a very intense red shade with the perfect blue red undertone.
There is absolutely nothing else in my collection that comes close to this red.
This shade is described as a spicy rose color that could easily come off as a pinkish brown.
I love the name of this shade. Courage is described as a bright fuchsia which has always been a shade of lipstick that has complimented my skin tone really well so I had to add this color to my cart.
This is a very beautiful color that is described as a reddish pink.
