If you’re a lip gloss fanatic then these lip glosses from e.l.f. might be the only ones you need. They come in a variety of beautiful natural nude and pink colors that are perfect for your everyday 9 to 5 look.
If you live that busy lifestyle like most of us do, spending more than 10 minutes on your makeup is probably too much.
What I love about these glosses is that they are super low maintenance. You can wear them on their own or use them as a lip topper. The best part is that it also gives you a little plumping action with some glossy effect.
The plumping effect is not significant but I love the tingling sensation that I get that is very similar to the Buxom Lip Plumping Polish.
Also if you’re looking for a lip gloss that has a little bit more color then these lip plumping glosses might not be for you. The colors are very sheer and subtle for a more natural look.
They can be found at Ulta or Walmart for about five dollars. They are super affordable and super easy to maintain. You don’t need a lip liner and you don’t even need a mirror.
One thing that you have to be aware of is that some of the shades can get just a little bit goopy especially if you put too many layers on. You want to make sure that you’re not too heavy handed when applying or extreme goopiness might happen.
Also, these lip glosses do not last very long so will have to reapply them throughout the day, however the colors are great and they are super inexpensive. If you like that natural, transparent look then these e.lf. lip glosses will make a great part of your collection.
Now Let’s Get into the Swatches
Peach Bellini is like a milky nude gloss that is perfect for someone who is not looking for a lot of color. It does however give your lips a nice glossy finish.
As you can tell it swatched sheer on me with a little milky, glossy finish.
This color is so beautiful and shimmery that you can definitely wear it on it’s own and still get a little bit of a glam look. Of course it’s still sheer but the shimmers in there definitely changes the game as it reflects light.
Pink Cosmo is a sheer, light pink color that also has a shimmery high shine finish. Like Champagne Glam, it does wonders when the light hits you from different angles.
This shade is a darker pink that I though was just beautiful on my skin tone. It definitely was not as sheer as the others and I loved the way it made my lips look fuller and of course juicier.
If you’re looking for a cheap gloss that gives you the effect of fuller looking lips then these definitely score. The color options vary slightly but these are glosses that you can wear different ways like with a lip liner or over matte lipstick. Plus I can’t complain about how much product you actually get for the price!
