I finally got onboard the Colourpop train with my first purchase of the Ellarie and Colourpop collection. Obviously, I’m way late in the game when it comes to trying out Colourpop but better late than never.
I decided to go with this collection because not only is it Colourpop’s latest collaboration but shades and the price point were too hard to pass up.
I did notice how affordable Colourpop’s selection was, and with all the Youtubers raving over how amazing Coloupop is, it was only natural that I wanted to join in on the fun.
What’s included in the collection:
4 Ultra Matte lipsticks
- Hennyways – Cool Toned Chocolate Brown
- Sessy – Deep Wine Red

- Yoshi – Vivid Magenta Violet
Two Ultra Glossy Lipsticks

As I tried these ultra matte lipsticks, it was hard not to show how excited I was. The formula is amazing and went on with ease. It immediately dried matte and felt like there was nothing on my lips.
Yoshi reminded me of Milani’s Matte Orchid, they had that very bright violet matte finish which I absolutely love.
On me, none of these lipsticks required a lip liner, even though I always recommend using one for a more defined look, but in case you run out of your favorite lip liner, you will still be fine.
The Ultra Glossy Lipsticks were nothing short of perfect, that may be an exaggeration, but its darn near close. Steelo was almost a clear lip with a little shimmer. I like that the shimmer wasn’t doing too much either. Just the right amount. Netta was that pinky beige-nude color that makes you look like you’re effortlessly put together. Also great for a ‘no make-up” makeup look.
It’s like Ellarie personally knew me and knew what I liked. From the deep reds and wines to the more vibrant violets and subtle nudes, every shade was right up my alley.
This collection made it very hard for me to choose my favorite. I can’t deny that I absolutely loved all the lipsticks and the lip glosses.
Have you guys tried anything from the collection? Let’s discuss!!!
